Progress report: So, back to stuff · 1:22am May 21st, 2016
So, I'm going back to things I haven't done in a while. Flash's Demon, TrixGlam, College, future projects and pokemon.
First off, college. Decided to go for college and now I'm back into college, taking a few classes. I suppose it's a bit hard to get back into the swing of things. I haven't been in college in a while... it's like riding an bike. Sure, you don't forget but it can be really hard getting back to full speed.
TrixGlam: I'm really, really happy with how well it did. The comments seem to like it and it's my most liked story, it's almost my most viewed story too. Especially when you consider Flash's Demon has been out for over a year and in the span of a few weeks it's almost topped it.
Everyone, thanks again for the views, reads, comments and all that fine jazz. I really appreicate it. If you really like it, spread the funny around. If I can make people smile and laugh, then my mission is complete.
I also have the original version of the story ("Original Writeoff Entry Edition"). I'm not sure if I should add it to TrixGlam (as a sort of bonus feature). That, also the thoughts of silly alternate endings, which would be a couple of cheap laughs. Do you think I should? Let me know what you think, okay?
Flash's Demon: The next chapter for Flash's Demon is not ready. I have it written, but the more I go into it the more I realize I need to fix parts and rewrite parts. I know exactly what I want to do, and I need to sit down and do them. It should be out within a month or so. Also, I may or may not merge 13 and 14 together. Also, I'm gonna need to go back and re-edit the previous chapters. Mostly for mistakes and tinking purposes, I ought to go back and give it a bit of grease before I go back to the grind. Not sure how long it'll take. It's slightly on the backburner due to the important IRL stuff above. Also the below is happening, which is kinda my proscrastination tool.
Pokemon: Another old thing I started back up was my copy of "Pokemon: Star Sapphire". As you probably don't know, it's a awesome mod of Pokemon ORAS. (Yes, a 3DS game mod). It's mostly an challenge mod, not really doing the story but instead the pokemon you fight.
For example, the second gym in the game, Brawly.
In Star Sapphire /Rubtile Ruby his pokemon are...
Hitmontop, Hawlucha (Sky attack + power herb, baton pass), Heracross (Flame orb abuser), MaChamp, Gurdurr, and a Pancham. Ranging from level 21-23.
Compared to what he has in the vanilla game... a level 14 Machop and a level 16 Makuhita
This is definitely a difficulty spike (I don't know if the mod version pokemon have been EV and IV fixed, I doubt the vanilla does). Exactly the way I like it too. Took me a bunch of tries and a tad meta-gaming (at least in, I know X has Y), but I finally beat him on my final pokemon, having exactly 3 hp left. I didn't want to use the starter they gave me, but dang, I needed him for this.
It was an (annoying) and intense battle. Been wanting a challenge for pokemon, I thought Omega Ruby was WAY too easy. This is definitely what I want to challenge my pokemon skills.
Thanks to me having Omega Ruby and X, I can mostly get any pokemon I want and TM use (Will-o-wisp came in real handy here). And since I didn't want to rehash, I even have a "new" starter (aka, tranfered an egg to me to replace Combusken). Aside from two, I wanted to randomly find my team, but... kinda needed my two and then realized I was going to need an Eevee. (mostly, for Espeon's wonderful magic bounce. When the first gym leader uses weather, stealth rock, and status moves on you... you quickly realize you either need to kill hazards or grab a magic bouncer ASAP)

Captain Sans - Lv.22 Combusken (guest party member. I don't want to keep him forever since he's...well overused)
Zigza - Lv.21 Linoone (don't intend to make it to the final party)

Esplin - Lv. 19 Eevee (planned to be an Espeon)
Reina - Lv.25 Murkrow (The only survivor of that second gym battle, my second in command)
Jinouga - Lv.23 Electrike (My team leader)
At the very least, Esplin, Reina, and Jinouga have their positions in my team locked. Who do you think might be good additions to my team?
Speaking of 3DS stuff, I actually might be close to getting streaming working on that. It'd be pretty cool to record and upload to the internet my gaming. Would be a pretty decent excuse to actually play them (and possibly make some ad revenue off it). Well, whatever the future holds, it holds.
