So... hello again!
It's certainly been a while huh?
I mean come on... it's kind of been over six months since my last update. I said that I'd keep tabs on this place, and what do I have to show for it?
Nothing... and broken promises
Welp... I guess I have some explaining to do then.
As much as I would LOVE to say that I've actually just been busy with school and work and such, that wouldn't exactly be true. Truth be told, I just haven't been too focused on my writing this entire time. I have had plenty of free time to work on my stories as well as on other personal works, but as you can clearly see, to no avail. In fact, at one point I thought that it would've been better to just quit writing altogether...
...but again, those plans didn't come to pass either (Fortunately for anyone who cares).
It's not like I haven't tried to write mind you. There were a handful of other stories that I wanted to drop here on a number of occasions, but every time I would either never finish the story or I would reconsider making it a fanfiction and would instead try to rewrite it into another story. You wouldn't believe how big my "Idea folder" has gotten just from these failed attempts alone, although the fact still remains.
TLDR: I have tried to write countless times these last six months, but each and every time I have failed.
I mean hell, I haven't even been keeping up with the show. I STILL haven't come close to finishing Season 5, and season 6 is already blowing everyone's minds to smithereens! Here I am mourning my lack of motivation all the while the rest of the fandom has been moving on to bigger and better things. Seeing as I've been thoroughly left in the dust at this point...
Why should I continue?
Or... a better question...
Why haven't I quit?
Personally speaking, I blame a certain group skype chat that I'm in, considering that half of them are writers just like me and they're always bouncing ideas off of each other (When they're not dropping Meme's the rest of the time. I swear! No joke!) but there might also be the fact that I... don't want to give up. Despite not doing any serious writing in so long, I still want to write.
Correction, I still Need to write.
I"m even going so far as to (And I KNOW I'm going to sound like a broken record here) start working on my own book. That's right, I am currently in the position of writing a story of my own. Not fanfiction. Not a short story either. I aim to write and publish my OWN GODDAMN BOOK.
Despite that though, so far it's terrible, but it's the thought that counts! XD
TLDR 2: I'm still not giving up and I'm actually giving my hand in writing a book of my own.
With all of that out of the way, all I'm left with is... well I have no idea. Instead of yammering your ears off (if anyone even bothers to read this) I'm just going to leave this blog at that. There are so many other things that I want to talk about, but for now I'm happy with just leaving you guys with an explanation of my absence rather than leaving you all with nothing but an empty blog that's filled with lies and sadness.
