Time to draw again · 3:40am May 15th, 2016
With the epilogue of Eleven posted (will still edit if there's editing notes given to me, or errors noticed), I'm preparing to begin the trilogy's conclusion. General plot outline is ready, and the unbegun story is sitting there, waiting for a chapter to be added. Thus comes the dilemma: cover art. I have something in mind, but to commission somebody to do it well will cost more money than I have to spend on such things. So...time to fire up the handy-dandy paint.NET and hope the end result is tolerable, and doesn't take as long as doing Eleven's cover art did.
There has to be an easier way to draw these things. I don't know what it is, or if I'd have to shell out much too much to get Photoshop with all the bells and whistles to make it go faster. I've seen things labeled as vector drawings, but I really don't know what that means, let alone how to do it.
If anybody got a suggestion, I'm all ears. As it stands...here we go again....
I just god to Bing or Google images, look up what I want, and most of the time, there's something there mate.
Cheers! And best of luck to you.
How about art picture showing an evil-possessed Twilight on the right, a crying Twilight on the left, and a violet shard in the middle with Shining Armour, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer shown below the violet shard?

Pretty similar to something I had in mind; the question is if I can pull it off and make it look okay. Inexperienced at making digital art.
