... and I may have just talked not only myself but a collaborator into some impromptu livewriting performance art.
In about 20 minutes from the time of this post, Bradel and I are gonna jump into a Google doc and (maybe) write Present Perfect some (ironic or sincere) Starxie, because the poor man is deprived of seeing his waifus kiss or something. In the meantime, we're starting the drinking and settling in.
You can watch the chaos unfold right here. Come contribute snark in Google Doc comments! (Or snark in the comments below, where we totally won't see 'em because we're going to be such good authors keeping ourselves from getting distracted.)
Edited to add: We've started! And already there's a manticore and a letter from Twilight and maybe some other stuff.
We now also have a Discord chat! You can hear occasional crosstalk and join the peanut gallery there. Discord's easy, all it takes is a web browser!
EDIT 2: Bradel is rocking the story, I'm just doing like drunken Tarot readings and flailing at the first scene, I suck at writing but I can do distraction good!
EDIT 3, T+4h: We are somehow still going and like five scenes in and this has gone from metaphorical trainwreck to literal trainwreck, and there's some sort of armageddon going on maybe in the near future? I dunno
EDIT 4: 3:30 am local time and we're finished and I''m recording a 66%-cold reading of this monstrosity and people are dropping to bed
since I can't broadcast to discord and record the reading at the same time
