News and Taking Requests for Day of Discord

This post is for two things: the first is that I'm changing my commission prices again. I've noticed that other authors of similar quality charge much higher than I do, and I've also noticed that almost 3/4 of my commissions are "episodic" in nature, which is by far the most cost-efficient option I provide. This tells me that my commissioners are kind of taking advantage of a flaw in my prices and ordering longer and longer fics to avoid paying as much as they probably should.

Those who already have ongoing commissions with me aren't subject to this change, so no worries there. But I'm also going to have to close commissions down to try and work through the massive pile-up that I already have. I'll update the pricing soon on my commission page.

The second thing is about my new fic, Day of Discord. Working on commissions is sometimes less "fun" and more of a "grind," and it's very difficult to find the motivation to write when I'm not having fun and the stack of things I need to work on never seems to decrease. Day of Discord was created as a fic that I could write whenever I wanted to write something quick that I enjoyed.

But I really enjoy this community, so I wanted to involve you guys in it. I'd like to take requests for what Discord should do with his time in the fic. I'll collect the requests and select them randomly, then write whatever happens. Of course, I have the ultimate say in which requests I'll allow and how they'll be written, but I'm pretty open and willing to write a lot of things. Just send them by PM and I'll file them away for whenever I feel like writing the next chapter.
