New Fanfic Idea: Past Sins Reimagined

I've been wanting to write an AU version of Past Sins for a while now. My first idea was to create a version of Past Sins based on one of the alternate timelines in the season 5 finale, specifically the "Nightmare Moon" timeline. But that would also require that the alternate version of Nyx NOT be a revived Nightmare Moon, since she's not gone. So I was gonna make it so that Nyx was actually a Changeling who would become the revived Queen Chrysalis, since I planned it so Nightmare Moon had allowed the changelings their freedom to feed on the ponies of Canterlot...in exchange for getting rid of Queen Chrysalis to assure that she doesn't try to break the deal and overthrow Nightmare Moon's rule.

But I chose not to go through with that idea, since Nyx being a changeling rather than the reincarnated Nightmare Moon felt a little too off-putting to me. But I do recall someone mentioning that there should be a story that involved an artificially created alicorn. And just recently, I came up with a way to implement that idea with my own "alternate timeline" Nyx. I'd be removing the Alternate Timeline aspect of the story and instead have Nyx herself be an artificially created alicorn, made up of several MLP villains. Nyx would've been born from the shards of Nightmare Moon, the stone fragments that made up Discord's stone prison, Queen Chrysalis' ...uh... pod goo(?), and King Sombra's horn. I don't know how or if I'll implement Terek, and I may have it as Starlight Glimmer's blood rather than Twilight's, since Starlight was a villain at one point. And the final piece would in fact be the Alicorn Amulet. I suppose you could say that it's a part of Trixie, but she was never a villain per-se. The only time she was evil, it was the Alicorn Amulet that was corrupting her.

But I'd like to ask a few questions:
First, I'd like to ask how you feel about this kind of reimagining of Past Sins.
Second, I'd like to know what a good title for the story would be. A few ideas I've come up with are "Past Sins: The Artificial Alicorn", "Past Sins: A New Tale", and simply "Past Sins" (or perhaps "Past Sins (Reimagined)"). So if you like any of those or you have ideas of your own on what the name should be, please let me know.
Third, I'd like to ask if I should implement Terek in the mix. And if so, how.
And finally, I'd simply ask that you not judge my idea based on the quality of the original Past Sins. I'd also be very appreciative of anyone who would like to be by proof readers and/or editors.

And that's about it. Other than the extra detail that this story will take place a few years in the future, just to avoid having to rewrite canon continuity.
