hello everyone,
if you're wondering where i've been since i announced my return, i've been... well. dealing with some stuff. it's been hard to write.
i also haven't been around fimfic much because, to be honest, the site doesn't interest me all that much anymore. i don't read fics because i haven't caught up w/ the show, and i don't write for the same reason. i want to solve both those problems... but there they are.
i'd like to encourage ppl to contact me off-site if they want to talk or discuss an idea/commission. i think my email is on my profile page or somewhere else on the internet, but if it's not, hit me up at darfpones@gmail.com so i can get the dealio. i'm on gchat there too, so if you need to talk in more detail, that's cool too. i usually end up reading my fimfic PMs and then forgetting to reply to them forever, so this is my attempt at remedying that problem.

Glad you're still alive, brother. It's sad when a good author loses his mojo for the show, but it happens to the best of us. Keep sane any way you can. If it helps, the past seasons have been really good.
I'm all for you continuing to write, but are you sure you want to publish anything on the site? Cause right now your story count is at 69 and it's not every day that things line up this perfectly.
Hmm this isn't the first time I read about someone giving up on fimfiction with the reason that they don't like/follow the show anymore. Has yet to stop me... It's always a good idea to skip the crack fics that come out after an ep anyway.

Honestly? You might not be missing much by not keeping up with the show. Having grown up, I've realized that the canon is embracing a pattern of things that aren't really memorable in the long term. Some people enjoy it. Some don't. I'm with the latter.
If you want to find out where you stand, you gotta watch some of the sixth season, tho. And I'll just say that episode 5 ain't half bad.
In short, if you have other important things to attend to in life, I don't recommend making season 6 a priority. You know how the show goes.
And here I thought you'd just drive-by'd us with those fics. Glad you're still kicking. :D Get watchin' dat show!

Agreed on the general sweep of the show, mostly. They've taken a few daring advances, like Crusaders of the Lost Mark.
Definitely agreed about S6 E5. OF COURSE I'M NOT BIASED AT ALL. I-it's not like I like dragons or anything! THIS DOESN'T MAKE US FRIENDS!
