    Coca-Cola starlight edition

It tastes like cotton candy. Who knew?

Trixie: Of course Starlight tastes like cotton candy. Trixie is quite knowledgeable about this.
Starlight Glimmer: I do not. Don't believe her.
Trixie: Pay her no mind. She knows what she tastes like.

    Chaos most glorious

I never really thought about it much until just recently, but there is a certain generation of Anime fans out there that know what Ranma 1/2 is. That's the English title. In Japanese, it's Ranma Nibunnoichi. The time period the anime was showing in Japan predates Neon Genesis Evangelion (arguably a more famous series) by a few years, but for the most part, both came to the US in about the same

    Unicorn Ice Cream

So, passing through wal-mart, looking for pumpkin flavored ice cream, I noticed something named Unicorn Sparkle ice cream by Great Value, the wal-mart house brand. Suffice it to say, I had to buy it.

It tastes like cake. I think Pinkie would approve.

    Everfree Northwest 2018

I'm attending the con. I should probably have written something before today since it's the last day, but c'est la vie. As it is my first pony con (have attended several anime cons in the past), I'm not sure how it compares to others. I can say that the strong writing component seems very pronounced to me and I've had to wonderful opportunity meet some authors I admire. Authors I can think of off

Stories I'd like to see · 4:52am Apr 27th, 2016

I would like to see a story or stories with Twilight Sparkle showcasing some knowledge of high society.

But wait, wasn't Twilight horribly anti-social at the beginning of the series?

Somewhat, yes. She had very little experience with her peers and no close friends her own age, but consider that Twilight was a personal student of the ruler of Equestria and had a different princess as a foalsitter. It seems likely that she would have been taught at least the bare minimum of manners, etiquette and decorum for dealing with royalty and the nobles. A clever author could add to the common fan depiction that Twilight Sparkle's parents are minor nobility and you have a good basis for this knowledge that Twilight could very well have but seldom uses.

If you think of high class, then Rarity probably comes to mind. I could easily envision a storyline where Rarity needs to impress some mid-ranking nobility but becomes too ill to do the job herself. Despite her best efforts at finding a replacement, Twilight might be her only option, much to her chagrin.

If the story was to take place before her alicornization, then her wings wouldn't be a problem though she would still probably be too noticeable due to her saving the world a few times - a disguise would probably be necessary. If it took place after, then her wings would have be explained away, hidden or instead of hiding who she is, then perhaps playing the fact she's a princess to the hilt for comedy.
