Car Accident · 11:17pm Apr 25th, 2016
Today, on the way home from picking my sister up from school, I was involved in a four-vehicle auto accident. I was the second-to-last car to get hit. From what I could gather, this is what happened:
-Front truck gets green light, doesn't move
-I was stopped behind the first truck
-Third car stopped behind me
-Fourth car, not paying attention to anything other than the green light, doesn't stop
-4 rear ends 3, which rear ends me, and I am pushed forward and bumped the first truck
-4 was at fault, though the first truck should have been moving
-The driver of 3 was taken to the hospital (recently had chest surgery, which the seat belt pressed against)
-The passenger of 4, a girl in my sister's school, had the air bag go off in her face and had trouble seeing afterwards
-I am not liable, but my car might be totaled. Had the front crunched a bit, the hood bent up, and the rear bumper is just hanging on
I feel sorry for the woman who was taken to the hospital, as well as the girl that was in the vehicle at fault, but I'm just glad that my sister and I were unharmed. She was scared and crying, but only went to the hospital to get checked for whiplash. Just to be safe.
Shit happens. That accident could have been worse, and I'm glad all that happened is we got our car damaged and got shaken up a bit.
Yeah I've had my car totaled before because of someone else... It sucks but cars can be replaced, at least no one was seriously injured

That's just messed up man, and to be honest I don't know whether you're unlucky for having it happen, blessed for it not being much worse, or are just suffering the variant version of the ancient curse 'may you live in interesting times', which is 'may you lead an interesting life'.

Just glad nobody was killed or something. 4 car moment like that could have gone ALOT worse. If nothing else, glad you are OK.

I insert certain parts of my life since I know what it feels like to go through them, like how Ryan's dad is a kidney-transplant patient. It's not a self insert though, I'm much more crazy than Ryan is.
