Another life update. So, lots of stuff.

Well, first thing out of the way, Chapter 12 is finished writing. And so is chapter 13. Good progress I think I've been making, so I'm happy about that. My Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition New Nintendo 3DS is pretty dang sweet. Still need to work out a few kinks, but sides that it's awesome. Got my hands on Kirby Triple Deluxe and I have to say, I still love that pink puffball. I use to play a lot of kirby through Kirby's Dreamland 3, and I still think Kirby Superstar is one of the best SNES games out there. (I still need to try Kirby Superstar Ultra)

Also, I've been playing Smash Brothers some more as I shouldn't have. My days of having fun with Charizard have paid off, the most recent patch has made me really viable and I'm having fun with him. As an OG fan of the ivysaur line, I feel like a heathen saying that. Winning a lot of fights with the guy. And that Meteor smash of his, just so satisfying to hear that sound and the plummet into the abyss.

Ok, well, that's the good news. Bad news is that I'm unemployed, got laid off a week ago today. First time in almost a decade. But I don't sweat it. It's either not going to last, or I go back to college as a full time student (now that my obligations have opened up)

While I'd love to be the guy who's awesome enough to accept commissions *CoughLikeAbsolCough*, I doubt my skills are up to that stuff....so, none of that. Go support Absol if you got money to spend.

As for the release of Chapter 12, I was planning on earlier in the week, but well, I got swooped up in the above IRL events and in writing chapter 13. While the idea's been in my head for over a year, I'm still running just how to present the next set of chapters. I don't want them to be boring, but I gotta do what I know is for progressing the story. Don't worry, I'll be getting to editing 12 (which by writing 13 and 14, I've been procrastinating on said editing) and then uploading it. Also doesn't help that Calico was sick last week, which put off the editing process sooner.

I do admit, I really, really need some pre-readers / beta-testers / editor. That... could really help me.

Also, if you're keen, I retconned something in the latest chapter. Realized I wasn't gonna use that chekhov's gun, so that explody chekhov's gun got removed. You can thank Absol for that. He saw how I was doing the scene I had planned for chapter 12 and... really didn't like how I was doing 12 and put his foot down on it, telling me that I had to change it. And... I really have to thank him for making me do that.

Tropes are not bad my friends. I really, really like how climax in chapter 12 turned out, it was far better then the original idea for the arc's climax. You'll see when I release 12. Should be within the next week or two.

It's been a crazy week, and I'm gonna be looking up towards what's next for me. When one door closes, another opens, and by the time it's all said and done I'll be better off than I was before. You gotta keep the faith.
