This is for anyone still around · 10:35pm Apr 20th, 2016
Am I missing something? So many Bronies that I thought had long moved on are slowly returning. Some have been gone for more then 2 years. I am seeing Musicians slowly releasing Pony songs again. Aviators and Awkward Marina are back with Pony songs. Even though they aren't doing Pony stuff, Assertive Fluttershy and Griffon Village are making songs again as well. I just saw SteamPunkBrony who has hasn't updated Among the Ruins in 3 years suddenly update again. Some artists seem to be making a comeback as well.
My point is, why now? What has caused so many to suddenly come back? The season feels like it was a bit slow to start but is now starting to pick up steam. I get we will lose some in between seasons but some of these Bronies have been gone much longer. I am loving the fact that they are being active in the fandom again but I can't help but wonder what the drive is that is making so many return? My nostalgic side just wants to be happy that they are back but my mind can't help but stop and wonder about what is going on around here... What your thoughts to anyone who is reading this?
Oh, small update for Road to Twilight, I am working on the next chapter but I hit a snag. Does anyone know the name of the Heartless that attacks Aqua in the Realm of Darkness? I am not in a position to look it up at the moment. If you could let me know that would be a huge help.

This is because the fandom isn't as shit as it used to be mate.
I was part of that shit so I know
The Name of the Heartless that Aqua fights in the Relm of Darkness is called Dark Hide.
Very simple, its what happens to everyone with a fandom or a show they love sooner or later, Burnout. Think about it like this, say you live next to a pizza joint that offers you a free slice with every visit. Awesome right? Free pizza every day! but, sooner or later, you are going to get tired of having pizza everyday and wll want to go and try something else.
It doesn't have anything to do with a season, or the series, or the fandom. Some people just want to go and explore other venues of their lives. They want to try something brand new and explore with new ideas. If you look around ANY fandom, I can guarantee you that some of the big fan names do the same thing. They'll spend sometime with what they love the most, then when they burn out they move on. They'll spend time drawing, writing, or doing music of something else they find that they're passionate about. Then one day, they'll see something: an episode, a fanart, or just rewatching it, that reminds them of the fandom they love so much and will come back stronger than ever.
Case in point, me. I hadn't touched much of DBZ or Kingdom Hearts in ages, and then with Battle of the Gods and getting remix, I am right back in the swing of things. Heck, I haven't been thining of Digimon in ages, but ever since watching Tri, i am suddently reminded of what made the show so good.
Dark Hide. Thanks to the official translation in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.

Thanks.
3884999 Huh, I guess it just goes to show how new I am to fandoms. MLP is still my first and I have been a part of it longer than any other I have been a part of. Sure I was into other stuff before this but this was the first fandom that I actually took part in and became much more than a simple casual. Ever since 2012, MLP has constantly been inspiring me. Thanks for giving me a bit more of an outside view.
I NEVER WENT ANYWHERE! I'VE BEEN HERE THIS WHOLE. BUCKING. TIME! But it's good to see some of the brony musicians coming back, that's good.
3886062 Hey I give props to the ones that stick around.
