So, just a quick note that I'm once again headed to BABSCon in San Francisco. I'm planning to arrive around noon tomorrow (Thursday) so if any of you are getting there early as well, let me know (PM me) and we can meet up.
As a lot of you know, I'm the writing track lead for Everfree Northwest, which is the first con I ever went to, and my "favorite" because of it. However, being staff, it basically means I work my tail off for four days, rather than getting to relax and just enjoy things. As such, BABSCon has become my "vacation" convention. This is where I don't have to do anything but hang out with people and catch a few events. Mostly, it's my best chance each year to catch up with fandom/online friends I don't see regularly. To that end, several of us writer types usually make a point of getting a group together and having a low-key room party at the very least. Last year, we had an entire suite for the purpose, courtesy of Juggernaught, complete with mixed drinks, etc. It was fun, but actually became a lot of work to police, card people, etc.
This year, it's likely to be a lot more low key. No specific plans as of yet, but we've got enough of us to make sure there's a decent group going and we'll be figuring it out. If you want to be looped in on things, make sure to PM me. Keep an eye on this post as well, as I'll try to comment here with updates.
Anyway, hope to see ya there!

Yeah, all of my suite funds went to buying myself a ticket to BronyCon this year, so low-key hangout is about all I got left.

App is available for most phones too, but I think you have to login for that. I'm going to try to leave it enabled on my phone, and hopefully that means anyone can reach me any time now! And we can all chat!
