So, you all probably got surprised seeing something extra in your feeds today, and that would be a little short story I wrote, and finally posted (with a lot of editing help beforehand).

    What I have been doing!

I thought I would put a new post up regarding what I have been doing over the last few months.

The last time I pointed out that I was doing some pre-reading, that has continued, and been expanded upon!

I have been quietly working on a different aspect of the writing realm since I did that guest chapter a few months back.

    For those who are curious

I have finally started to show some small work in the realm of writing here on FimFiction. Granted it's not a whole lot, and it was self-edited, but its a start and hopefully for those who take the time to peek at it they might enjoy it.

What I have been doing! · 11:52pm Apr 18th, 2016

I thought I would put a new post up regarding what I have been doing over the last few months.

The last time I pointed out that I was doing some pre-reading, that has continued, and been expanded upon!

In addition to working with Firesight I have been working with a few others as a pre-reader. They are Dudeler, helping out (for as long as he wants it) with his stories. For those who are curious he has some interesting ones in the works right now, Unleash the Magic! (Mature), and The Model's Secretary (NSFW). Another I have been doing some work for is a little up and coming writer by the name of Xhor331. I offered to help with his work after seeing what it could be with a little TLC and editing. His stories are Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, and its sequel, The Southern Expedition.

But that is not ALL I have been up to as of late. No recently i decided to visit a fellow Brony, former co-worker, and friend of mine named Tim. Tim and I happen to love ponies and we could talk for hours on the subject, spending our work shifts talking about it when not tending to customers, and sometimes I would even share with him funny quotes or excerpts from stories I am reading here on the site, much to his never-ending amusement. Your probably wondering why I am even bothering to tell you all about Tim and such. Well the reason is simple. When I visited Tim, I took a look at his computer, and I couldn't help but look at it like Twilight was looking at things during Lesson Zero

Yes, it was that bad

So, understanding that in the time it took him to do some things was enough time to go AWAY for the better part of several minutes, I decided I had to fix this. Thus I revisited a old project I had lying around and gathering its fair share of dust, LAZARUS. Lazarus was the name I gave to a old project I had the idea for, but never started back in the summer of 2012. Back then it was a sad looking thing, a slightly-beat-up computer case, and nothing really usable within. (For those who REALLY want to know, I have catalogued all of the parts it originally had within it before disposing them) but a mere 4 years later saw me finally making use of it, and here are the results.

The Stats:

AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz CPU, on a nice old motherboard I had lying around, 16GB RAM, 1 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD boot drive paired with a 2TB Western Digital Black spinning at 7200RPM, a snazzy new 24X DVD burner, 2 new 80 mm fans (and spares!), a needed case exhaust blower, a nice 650 Watt power supply from Corsair, and my old graphics card.

It took the better part of 4 days to accomplish, including all of the time spent first checking with anti-virus to ensure that nothing malicious was hiding, and then to clone both of the old harddrives to the new ones. (Don't believe you can clone? Its easy with the right software and patience.)

This took like 10 hours to accomplish, so you might've been asking yourselves 'What did they do for all that time?'

That's right, I showed ALL of that in one sitting. It was beautiful, much laughter was had. It was magical.

Tim is MUCH happier now and can actually do things with the rest of society at a speed more appropriate for his 30-something y.o. age.

Until next time everypony!:pinkiehappy:
