Another thing that bothers me...

So, this is similar to my rant about Soarin's cutie mark, except it's about Twilight. Specifically her mane and tail. A good majority of the stories I have read get her colours wrong. I know that it's the author's perogative to artistic licence and all that, but it still bothers me! I like details, proper details.

Most authors, when describing how a character sees her for the first time, say that her hair is a dark purple (sometimes not even that) with a pink highlight. The only part of that that is true is the pink stripe.. Twilight a hair is like a dark royal Blue (or what shade it is, it's still blue) with a pink AND purple highlight, the purple being a shade darker than her coat, which is most likely why most people miss it.

So, that's my rant. Just had to get it out there.
