Train Wreck Explorers and queue update · 3:11am Aug 30th, 2012
I just joined a group called "Train Wreck Explorers," which is dedicated to drawing attention to bad writers and stories and bashing the everloving shit out of them. My old friend FelixDawn is even one of their blacklisted authors! Naturally, I think I'll fit right the hell in there. I've linked my riffs to a thread I made and plan to keep newly added riffs posted there as well as here on my blog.
I found PLENTY more to work on in there. The greatest gem I noticed went by the title "Return of the changeling's." It has NO canon adherence, a plot I couldn't even follow, an alicorn OC being romantically paired with Luna, and ridiculously short chapter lengths. Plus, Poultron went nuclear on the comments THREE TIMES.
I'm still hard at work on the third chapter of the "Rarity's Generous Plan" riff, but my attention's been fragmented this past week thanks to that bane of my existence known as real life. But I HAVE started, and I AM working. Hell, if you want, I can PM people the unfinished doc and they can watch me work! I do it often enough with my IRL friends and closer coworkers, so why not spread the love?
Ugh, real life. I hate when it gets in the way of important things, like ponies.
That sounds like a plan!
