Chaos Phantasm

An on again-off again Australian FIMfiction author. I like to write stories, be they good or bad. I always have an idea in my head just waiting to be used. I love to write and will continue to do so.

    How is everyone?

    Hello.

I wasn't very active last year. Normally I write blogs to let people know that I'm still roaming about on the site, but for some reason last year, I didn't. I'm sorry about that. It's not like I had anything going on either, I was just lazy, I suppose.

    Merry Christmas!

Blessings unto you on this day, December 25th.

2020 has been such an awful year. It's destroyed lives and families in the wake of a terrible and virile plague. In light of this, I wish people the very best day in 2020, wherever you may be. Please be safe and hearty. Let us make 2021 a better year for all of us.

But you said... (take it with a grain of salt)

Yeah, I know what I said, but before you hang me, hear me.

    Deleting another story

Gonna keep this short because I don't care for this particular story enough and I know well enough that neither do you.

I will be deleting A Song of Angels from my library at my discretion of course. The artwork as done by Turbopower1000 will still be available on his Deviantart, considering that the artwork is probably plastered over the internet, having them deleted wouldn't matter at all.

Everything is on hiatus! Searching for a new Editor. · 9:58am Apr 18th, 2016

Yeah, I shivered just like the rest of you who enjoy whatever I dish out. The hiatus of every fic I am presently working on comes from the lack of an editor. Word Worthy, whom I've come to rely on, unfortunatly has stepped down as my editor. There's no hard feelings we're still good mates, and he suggested that we (he and I) should find me a new one. Easier said than done.

While I used to write without an editor, the failure of Rare Raindrop Rarity necessitated in a change of how I work, and since I've had an editor for months I am very, very reluctant to go back to my old ways. I'm forced to search for one as my own editing skills are far from perfect, basically reflecting my skill as a writer, and because I do not want any of my fics to lose the quality I've come to deliver since Rainbow's Morning Eggs!. And with a Fallout: Equestria side-fic coming very soon, the need for an editor is desperate. :pinkiesick:

I have been suggested to editor finding groups, but I don't like the way they do things, and everyone is going to lecture me for not understanding why they work the way they do, I understand why, but I don't want to have to find a new editor for every story I do, nor do I want to pile up every chapter of a story into one massive document where you'll find nothing. So until I find a new editor, I'm putting down my quill. :fluttershysad: (That doesn't necessarily mean I won't still try and get chapters and stories out, but it will impact my speed.)

I'm gonna give ya'll a little insight on how I do things with my FIMfic stories. I do not share the Gdocs files of my stories, nor do I import the docs to Fimfiction, I write the fic down on Gdocs, download them, than I copy and paste it here in the respective chapter. I don't know if there's a rule against that, I personally find it easier than doing it the normal way. :twilightoops:

So, What's the point on downloading?

3878108 I have a copy I can save in case I happen to lose everything on both Gdocs and Fimfiction. Also I've found directly copy and pasting from Gdocs can have annoying consequences, such was the case with One Last Snowfall. This was my experience so I don't know if it's the same for everyone, than again, it's been a while since I've done that. :applejackunsure:
