I've published a new story

And as usually, it took a contest to make it happen...

Have you ever wondered what life in Equestria would be like if the Elements of Harmony had not been successful in defeating Nightmare Moon and her Eternal Night would have become reality? I have. This story has been simmering at the back of my mind for a number of years now. It was the Hazardous Writing Materials and Challenges group's strangely name "Elevator Pitch" story contest that provoked my finally putting these ideas to paper. I guess the effort was appreciated by the judges, as the story placed first in the contest.

BY the way, the objective for the contest was to write a first chapter (only) of a multi-chapter story. I have since finished chapter two and am writing chapter three of an estimated twenty or so I will need to finish the story.

So here for of your reading pleasure is a very dark alternate universe story, O Blessed Night.
