Hello all. So a couple weeks ago during a restless night I had an idea and outlined a sequel to Puppet to her Fame. I can't decide though if it's worth coming back and writing, so I thought I'd see what everyone thinks and if there is anyone around who would want to edit it.

"A puppet to her fame" broke my heart.
As much as I loved it, I'm going to say that it ended fantastically and I couldn't imagine a sequal.
I don't know if I'd be any good for the editing. But I think a return of the great Kaidan would be hallowed in the Fimfiction community.
I'm not sure i could handle a sequel to this. Reading A Puppet to Her Fame was painful enough and i'm sure you've seen bookshelves that reflect that. But if you write a sequel to what i view as the most painful story i'v ever read, then i will read it for the sake of finishing the story. I'll probably cry a lot and it will probably be put onto the same shelf i put the original, but chances are i'll love it too. Just like the first one.

3852145 i agree. I enjoyed the story, but found that beyond cruel to both tavi and vinyl... as well as really thoughtless on vinyl's part, which i think i've mentioned in the comments of either the story or scribbler's reading of it.
I always wondered why Vinyl never thought about what tavi said about the hooks and how scared she became about them, as well as what tavi had told her about what happened to her parents (cant actually remember if she told her HOW it happened or not, but i think she did, been a long while since listening to the reading) so she would have known the things were real and, considering how much tavi expressed her want to be with vinyl, that she'd think about why tavi would just suddenly not want to be with her and just play the music and would realize something was wrong.
It was the only real nitpick i had about the story's flow, to be honest.
However, i feel a sequel could not be possible. The original ends many years later, when vinyl and tavi are quite old now. While i'm sure i'd be willing to read it if it comes out, that would be a real challange for Kaiden to take on.

Puppet to Her Fame is one of the best fics I read, so I'd definitely be interested in a sequel, although like SilverScales said, it doesn't necessarily need one.
Well A Puppet to her Fame was the first story by you I had read. I've read a couple of your others but I would have to say it is still my favorite, followed by the Twilight's Dollhouse series. I'd be very interested in a sequel.

3852145 Believe it or not.... While I am a looser that takes to long I already have that slated in my side of it. Particularly that the Puppeteer is a minor Mesopotamian God that has Witch Worshipers in Avalon. Basically.... Tavi is freed because Luna splits the bastard with a long sword from the abdomen up! Though considering that Kaidan is going to make a sequel it has become an Elsworld. And the fact that it wasn't until last week that I came back, and decided to finish the whole thing within a month in order to finally feel les guilty of putting off due to University.
I'll help.... I'll also need to know how you are going to make it work? I know that Vinyl and Octavia need to go back together now that it's shown that they live happily ever after in Ponyville. I actually was going to write that Vinyl received permanent throat damage. Which probably explains why she can't speak......
