Dreams on "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" · 5:54pm Apr 6th, 2016

I'm afraid I don't remember this batch as vividly as last time, but that's because I didn't wake up as often during the night, so I'm counting it as as a good thing.

So instead of titled sections for each dream, I'll just give you what I remember. I had a lot of dreams, so I'll focus on the patterns and some specific things that I remember.

Like me being Batman and taking a criminal into the Wayne mansion to interrogate with Alfred. Alfred applied the pressure, specifically with a lever-operated Batcave door to the cranium. Then I went into Alfred's internal commentary on it, saying he's not happy that he had to squeeze a guy's head with a door to get him to talk, but "his soul said that was the torture he feared the most."

I'm really not sure what that was about.

After last night's post I started reading The Dark Knight Returns, that I had heard BvS was partially based on. Turns out that means all of the best quotes and Batman scenes came from the books, almost verbatim. (Including Lex's catchy "A three-syllable word for any thought too big for little minds," which I think was better expressed in the comics as "Then why do you call [Batman] psychotic? Because you like to use that word for any motive that's too big for your little mind?")

Then I had sort of a crossover dream with the female Robin from Dark Knight Returns meeting the government's choice of Robin from that recent comic run of Jim Gordon as Batman. It was an interesting conversation, and I only wish I could remember it.

A lot of my dreams involved looking for a good place to eat, and stopping at different food courts to decide which one I want most. I actually have those dreams a lot as of late, and I tend to wake up from them hungry.

Anyway, yesterday the train of thought that led to getting all my friends to go see a movie started with wondering whether or not I should find a car and make a run for In-N-Out. So that's the reason why I had restaurant-deciding dreams among the Batman stuff. No Superman dreams, though. Guess that just shows who Best Superhero is.

The last dream I had before waking up this morning involved me, my brother who recently visited me, and my grandmother who I live closest to and visit often, all going on a road trip. We stopped at a really cheap motel because they had a great choice at the food court, and it turns out our "room" was actually a shared restroom (just for us, though, but like a full public restroom with stalls and urinals and everything) and we were expected to sleep in our car.

Dreams be weird, yo. If I had any epic three-act story dreams last night, I don't remember having them.

In other news, I've taken up a hobby of giving commentary over TF2 pub matches, and people apparently enjoy it. Turns out I have a talent for this sort of thing. How does one go about starting a career in sports or esports commentary?

Neat about people enjoying your commentary. No clue how you'd make a name for yourself that way, but I would like to take a look at that link you posted when I have time.
