Finally Got My Favorite Friend's Forever Comic

Allow me to start this off with a short story.

I'm not really a guy who reads too many comic books, but I do love MLP:FiM enough to buy their series. At first, I just ordered digital comics online, and I was fine with that. Where I live, there isn't really anywhere I can go to buy a comic without driving for at least an hour, so digital comics seemed liked my only choice (I didn't think of eBay at the time. Silly me :P ). However, about a year ago when I was helping a friend move out, I came back into contact with another old friend of mine. While we were catching up, he mentioned that his family runs a comic book show the first Monday of every month. The next day just so happened to be the first Monday of that month, so I went to the show. They had a lot of the usual DC, Marvel, etc. comics, but, like I said, I don't really read a lot of comics, so I wasn't too impressed with them. However, I did find some issues from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and I am a huge Sonic fan. I was happy with I got, but I was still hoping to find some MLP comics. I bucked up and asked my friend if he had any. He thought I was joking at first, but when I told him I was serious, he looked real surprised. He said he couldn't believe some "muscle-head" could be into MLP. We shared a few laughs over the whole situation (even I admit it did sound pretty funny), and he said he didn't have any, but he'll get me subscribed and get me those comics. Ever since, I've been subscribed to MLP's main and Friends Forever series (and Sonic). Eventually, my orders came in, and I now regularly get digital and physical issues of MLP.

Finally, I got Friends Forever #13, my favorite of the series. It took a while to get this issue since I didn't subscribe to the series until about a month or two after it was initially released, and even when I did subscribe, it took longer for me to start regularly getting issues. But at last, I have it. Rather, I have them. I got the regular version and the subscriber cover version, and I couldn't be happier with them. Friends Forever #13 is my favorite because of its humor, art, characters, and its very first panel. I find the first panel to be so adorable. In fact, that panel is the very inspiration for my very first story, Sweetie Belle's Secret Hearth's Warming. I've had the digital copy since the beginning, but I'm happy I finally got physical copies. I will treasure them always.
