Mainly because they've never been this bad.
Work-wise, I'm all cleared up. Finished the last of my big assignments for the year last week, and although I have exams in May, I'm much better at organising my time around revision than I am around essays.
But in terms of my personal life? All hell has broken loose.
I'm not going to go into details, because what is happening is intensely personal and private, but suffice to say that my grandfather's sudden death and upcoming funeral barely register on my list of woes right now. Not because I'm a callous bastard - but because I have that much shit on my plate right now.
As such, I am officially retracting any promises I have made of editing to anyone. I am deeply sorry about this, all of you who that applies to (ZOMG and Snu in particular, as there is a lot of stuff I said I would edit for you), but at this point it would be dishonest and rather cruel to tell you "oh, I'll get to it soon!".
Because I won't. And honestly, it might be a while before I'm active in this fandom again.
I intend to send personal messages to a few people who have been particularly good to me these last few years (although there are far too many even then for me to get to all of them...), but honestly, I want to thank each and every one of you for following me thus far. I've never talked to most of you outside of an initial greeting, and likely never will, but I really do appreciate the fact that you thought this random British teenagers words might be worth something. Thank you.
I do want to clarify - I'm not completely disappearing. I'll still check in with Fimfic every now and again, I'll answer PM's or comments, and I will (try to) be on skype occaisonally. And I will be back. I still need to finish Season 5 damnit, and watch Season 6 now, and although life is definitevely getting in the way of it right now I have made far too many friends here to abandon it. I've always made it a point to act online as I would in real life (perhaps with a little less shyness), and I have never been the kind of person to abandon good friends, regardless of whether I've met them "IRL". I hope that never changes.
But for now, I must bow out. I look forward to the day I can come back.
