Weekly Teaser #7 ~ Important Message on Delays · 3:56am Apr 5th, 2016
Some mighty important information after this weekly teaser here. Stay tuned if you care. If you don't, I don't blame you, I'm just some idiot bloke on the internet, lolz. On the other hand, if you don't care about the teaser, and are just interested in any of my stories, feel free to pop in at the end of this for my personal input.
The Third Duel: Subchapter (?): Mirror of Destitute
"What the heck...?" Rainbow Dash said out-loud. Surely, this wasn't what she looked like at the moment. Slowly, light filtered back into the room, and she could find herself on an illuminated field of grassy plains.
"Okay, this is trippy... Probably that Aperture's doing... What is he trying to accomplish?" Rainbow-Dash thought, glancing around at the empty plains.
As Rainbow Dash averts her gaze back to the mirror, she finds that her image jumps out of the mirror, and is dashing at her. Not being able to react fast enough, Rainbow-Dash is punched back a great distance. While still soaring through the sky, she sees her image already flying up near her, ready for another assault.
"Fraid not," Rainbow-Dash "tsk"ed, doing an agile skid and flip across the ground to slow herself. "Too slow." she finished. Skillfully, she grabbed the forearm of the image, and tossed it beyond her with great strength, smiling at her work.
*Slow-Motion Initiates*
The image looked at Rainbow-Dash, upside down, sailing through the air. As they made eye-contact, Rainbow Dash felt shivers in her body as she met the crimson eyes of her image. Suddenly, the image disappeared from its place as RD was flying towards it. In an instant, she felt the presence behind her.
"So you think you're fast...?" the voice whispered. As RD turned, nothing was there. She turned again, and saw nothing. An eerie and silent wind blew...
*Slow-Motion Ceases*
Rainbow Dash heard a whistle, and spotted the image in the sky. "If speed's what you want, I can show you what it is." it said simply.
"Huh?" Rainbow-Dash muttered, confused. She saw the figure cock its fist back. Suddenly, it punched so fast that dozens of apparitions of fists were seen.
Before Rainbow Dash could even make a snarky remark insulting her display of punching, she was sent crashing into the ground by what seemed to be invisible punches. She could tell because of the indents they left when they impacted her. But surely, punches couldn't travel a distance like that, could they?!
Before RD could even get up, she was met with the image standing over her.
"J-just... Who are you...?! Are you me?! I am you??" Rainbow-Dash asked.
"I'm the real you," the image began, with a sinister smirk. "You can simply refer to me as Perfidious." . . .
Okay, here is where my part comes. I'm afraid to inform the tiny amount of routinely readers I have that I will be delayed in updating a chapter of one of my stories. Although work is done on them, work will likely not finish 4-5 days from now, as I am in the delicate process of cleaning and making space for a new video/streaming set-up that I am soon to buy as per my late birthday gift. Not only that, but I have many tests coming up, and studying is imperative, as I like to keep my A-Grade on point. So though I'd inform you that my 12-16 day schedule will be violated this time. Sorry, toodles, and enjoy! ^-^
