I don't write, so much as I perform acts of high-wire fiction without a net. Come watch me fall! I believe in narrative coincidence, the transcendent power of hopeful creativity, and the Oxford Comma.

Interview with Radio Everypony Ru · 9:09am Mar 27th, 2016

So, I had the interesting and unique experience of being interviewed by a Russian brony podcast recently.

As you'll quickly see, I don't speak russian, and the podcast is in russian, so as you can imagine, I felt rather lost for a lot of it. But apparently I was in decent company, as M.A. Larson has done the same podcast.

Anyway, it was quite long, over two hours that I spent on air (the first half the podcast). Sadly, there isn't a condensed, english-only version (as that'd probably be 30 minutes at most) so I don't expect most of you to have much interest, but if you're really bored (or speak russian), and want to see me put on the spot, give it a go!

Interesting! Sadly, though, I cannot speak Russian.

Wait a minute, wait a minute! It took me five years to listen to this, and I find out at Minute 50 that I'm mentioned as a good author first, before a series of others? I should have listened before. Thanks for the callout!

3830112 I kept hearing the Russian as dialogue from Ant Man. It's warm and friendly.

Yeah, I've liked your writing for quite a while now.

On a related note, my own pony novel (Three Wishes) was translated into Russian by someone (with my permission) and actually printed in physical form. The only bound copy of anything I've ever written, and it's in a language I can't read!
