I'm not sure if any of you noticed, but I've been inactive for a while. There are a lot of reasons, one of which is I'm bored with fimfiction.
Why am I bored? Well, the lack of interaction with my followers is one factor. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you've got your own things going and I don't blame you for that. Maybe I've been the one at fault. There are other factors, but I haven't nailed them down yet.
I'm also bored with writing fan fiction. It was fun at first, writing about what could happen in Equestria, but over time, it grew dull for me. Even reading stories has become a chore for me.
I've also been looking for work lately, but it's same ol', same ol'. I've spent nearly half my life looking for work, constantly being turned down for lack of experience. Just recently I applied for Dollar General again (yes, again), I received the same response, "We decided to pursue other candidates". When I asked why, they told me, "You don't meet the standards. Try again in a year." I asked again what these standards were, but I didn't get a response yet. Keep in mind that I'm applying for the entry-level Sales Associate (read: cashier) position.
I also signed up for MITalent, a job-seeking site similar to Monster, exclusive to Michigan. Yesterday, I got an email from a person from Xeratec, an IT firm out of Hancock that provides jobs to those who live in rural areas, like I do. He asked for a resume, I sent him one, then he came back saying that they'll "pass on me right now", saying that "they don't have the resources to train people yet". I don't buy the excuse, but it might be true.
In the meantime, I'll be playing around with Unity and learn how to make games with it.

Yeah, I here you. It's been the same for me on the end with fimfiction. I'm hoping to get the fire back however.
