Update and BUCK · 7:04am Mar 23rd, 2016
For those of you who have been following the story My idiot, you probably already would have been disillusioned to the fact that I have not yet posted the chapters I said I would. Although I could through as many lame and valid excuses, none of them will quite make up for that, so I apologise to those (if any) who have already experienced withdrawal symptoms.
But I have some good news!
Ages ago I posted my first MacDash story, which has been tagged with this blog post. I had written it for a fan fiction competition and...I won...
I WON!
I was thrilled with its success! Even now the views seem to grow at a steady rate. For a guy who thinks that 100 followers is an impossible reality, I'm easily stoked by this, and I really appreciate all the love and support I've had for this story.
It was nice to have it welcomed by the Macindash community group as well, with comments from people I recognised from the forums and other stories and people I've come to admire. I don't mean to put people on a hierarchical pedestal, but that doesn't disregard the fact that I might have yelled in triumph...just a teensy bit...
So yes, that's me £50 richer.
At least, until I spend it on my BUCK tickets.
For those of you that don't know, aside from Ponycon and Bronyscot, I believe BUCK is the only other brony meet in the UK that can be classed as a convention. That or I am grossly misinformed. But yes, this year is the last and final BUCK, and it promises to be a blast! Once I heard about it, I knew it was my destiny to embark upon this glorious quest of BUCK! All things aside, I am super excited, and if anyone else is going, I guess I'll see you there!
