150 likes special (For REALLY-REALS!!)

Wow, my story got 150 likes!

....So now what should I do?
....I guess finish the next chapter and post it. Will try to do it, just been busy with a new job, you know how it is.
Still, this thought has come to me lately: Should I have crossover adventures with Ethan/Mysterio, or transform my story into a regular Powered Human in Equestria story without this Displaced aspect. Because apparently 'Displaced' fics are getting a stigma towards them that I never knew about them before. Honestly, it doesn't really matter to me, because I just want more people to enjoy my writing, not dismiss it. What do you guys think?

Honestly I'd prefer the regular empowered human, though if the Displaced you want to crossover is okay, then I wouldn't mind.. My doubts about the crossover is not because I dislike Displaced, but because usually in crossover some of the guest Displaced can be OP/instant chick magnets. Anyway, due what you think is best.

Crossover. Keep the story the same as you are already writing it. It'd be a completely different story otherwise if you went the second route cause you'd be writing about some random powered person instead of someone who got turned into Mysterio with his abilities and knowledge of the illusionary and mystic arts. It wouldn't be Ethan anymore.

It'd be like trying to write a Spiderman story without anyone from the marvel multiverse in it, a random guy you're calling Spiderman giving him a suit that isn't even spider related or themed like all the known suits and nothing connected to the series at all that makes it Spiderman related in anyway like a parody that's not even trying to be a parody. Not even being a spinoff either. The kind of thing that bores and turns people off from reading it altogether basically.

At least stories like your Mysterio Displaced one is obviously trying to be a crossover of sorts since the guy is in dressed as Mysterio, has his knowledge of the theatrics and everything and pretty much the know-how required to even live up to his mantle while actually trying successfully so far to be the hero the guy originally intended to be before things went south and he turned to revenge against Spidey, becoming a villain. And if the story fits the theme of most Displaced we can expect a few real marvel characters to show up as that Equestria might be merged with the Marvelverse in someway. Like Gilgamesh's has FF monsters and characters showing up from time to time, and Bahamut 8 has the FFVIII/8 and other FF characters showing up like FFIV's 4 Fiends of the Elements for example.

personally the regular empowered human sounds better, most of the displaced fics tend to becoming annoying on the long run with to many guest author chapter that don't really do much for the plot, if you can avoid that Is ok too

I agree with Trithtale, I will still enjoy it with what ever you decide, as well as the point he made, Displaced fics have always and will always have a negative stigma to them.

Heck, you look at some of the other Displaced fics and you'll more than likely see, for every Positive comment there'll be about 2-3 Negative comments. Or something like that.

Either way, keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing how Ethan/Mysterio handles the rest of the big adventures the Main 6 will have......quick question though, Will Ethan/Mysterio come up against Diamond Dogs or any of the other races later on in the story?

Glad to see everyone's comments so far. I like the points you all gave me. I'll definitely keep them in mind as I continue the story.
