These weekend blog posts are a nightmare to do, mostly because I completely forget to do them until the last second. I try to maintain a record just for myself, and prove to myself that I can do it, but my brain refuses. It's worth it at least.
I've been doing a lot of writing this week, publishing not so much. Taking my time is this weeks theme, and hopefully I'll stick to it as I think it has helped. Of course, Stardew Valley and Team Fortress 2 have taken over my spare time. Especially TF2.
Recently, people have been asking me to join their competitive teams. I actually use to do comp back when it was a 6v6 setup, but that was years ago. I don't really have a desire to do any more comp, I'd prefer to focus on writing, but I can't ignore the fierce voice calling me to compete.
That's something I've lacked all my life actually, the burning fire inside my chest to do something. My job, my education, even my gaming passion. They all don't give me the fire that writing does, even if it is just crummy fan fiction. Sometimes I wish I believed in a religion, just to know that feeling of overwhelming love for a god, but writing comes close I'd imagine.
I've studied a lot of religions, special thanks to being homeschooled, and I found most of them to be fascinating. Christian, Islam, Buddhism, Paganism. Studying them all gave me a moral conscious to be unbiased towards all religion, which means I'll be an Atheist for however long I enjoy the ideology of religion itself. It's one of the few things I'd go to war for, the right to express religious beliefs. Even if I don't agree with what they believe in, I know that it helps a lot of people who aren't me, and that's something other Atheists don't understand.
I'm an Atheist who doesn't like other Atheists, especially to the point that I don't even like calling myself one. I wish I did, but most have a loud mouth and a shroud of ignorance that I just can't stand. Though, the same could be said for vegans I suppose.
Went from killing engineers to religious rights in an instant. No more 11 o'clock Sunday blog posts, you hear, future me? Well, I probably won't listen...
