Hi everyone,
Just wanted to throw a line out there and see what I can find:
I'm almost ready with another longform fic; it's actually out for betas right now. But, I'm also working on a short fic--the first part will consist of five, one- or two thousand words. I have a couple chapters that I think I'm ready to send out the door, but I'd like at least one beta to look them over before I do.
Anyone here want to take a look at what I've got? Again, this will be pretty quick, and I can handle the copyediting myself--I just need someone to read it over and give a thumbs-up, thumbs down.

Although, tell me, what are betas, exactly?
Beta readers. I don't think the term is used super-often on FimFic, but it's more common in the wider writing community.
Think kinda like software: Alphas read rough work (like, in-progress stuff) and Betas read mostly-completed works. I'm hovering between Alpha and Beta status right now, though I'm hoping to get to a better place by this afternoon.
