Literally me.
Y'all Americans really love St. Patrick's day, huh? Even more than us. You can put us all to shame with the drinking and the madness, so you can. Happy St. Patrick's day to everylemon who celebrates, and don't be taking too much Guinness. I certainly won't. I'm only a wee small thing and can't stomach strong stouts quite right.
As an aside, I have more chapters of various things coming very soon, including some old favourites, and a few new stories to boot. Keep yer peepers peeled for those. Got around to adding another chapter to my 170,000 word long epic a month or so ago, so there's that, at long last. I would have a lot of updates up sooner, but it's university coursework season, and I gotta make those grades. Which means no partying for me tonight, alas. Just a poorly lit room, a bottle of wine, a whole chocolate cake and the hum of a PC to keep me company. Send me your sympathy, if you will. Oh, and I know I keep conversations with several of y'all: don't worry, I haven't fallen off of the face of the Earth, nor have I been squeezed. I'll get around to talking to you guys in a few days, after my workload has settled. Until then! Sing me out, Mr Leprechaun!
... what the hell?

I had guiness. And I'm not even Irish! I just really rather like stouts. And pales. And lagers. And ambers.
Okay, so what if I just used this as an excuse to drink more than usual?! So what? I'm an adult! Mostly. I can do whatever I want!
Speaking of coursework, what do you study? University is like the one thing I actually understand aside from alcohol, so I love hearing about it.

Heresy! You can't just go and appropriate our culture like that! The cheek!
Well, if you excuse me, I'm just off to drown my sorrows with a big bottle of IRN BRU.
You, uh... you like your liquids, Hap? That's a new one...
I'm a cider lemon, myself. And certain ales. Never been one for stouts, though.
English Literature with journalism. I teach a lil' bit of English, too.
You're an engineer, correct?
3815839 That's right. I study Design Engineering. Which roughly translates to 'mechanical engineering, but with an identity crisis'.
I've done lectures covering mechatronics, biomechanics, aerospace, mechanics, fluds, thermodynamics, management (including a teeny tiny bit of law), computers, ethics, ergonomics, manufacture (rapid or otherwise) and mathematics. Everything but writing, more or less, so naturally, that's what I do in my spare time.
It's pretty fun. I get to make things and take home lots of funny engineering gubbins when nobody is looking. At the engineering ball, I nicked our table name, which had been made in the rapid-prototyping lab. It was a really odd coincidence: our table name was 'hoof-hearted'. Naturally, nicking it was the only available option.
