Hey guys, been a while since I've made a blog that wasn't about something going on somewhere else, hasn't it? Just wanted to make a quick blog to let y'all know, I haven't forgotten about you.
That being said, my focus has noticeably shifted quite a bit over the past few years.
My initial purpose in coming here back in 2012 was to spread my audience for stories that I had written on 4chan at the time; I'd written up 3 stories at my initial time of joining Fimfiction, and had cross-posted all of them after joining. Sonic Boom was my debut, both on 4chan and on Fimfiction, and right now, I feel like revisiting it will open up old wounds; stories and ideas and tropes from long ago that I left behind would resurface, and I'd fucking hate it.
That being said, by far I don't hate the story itself. It is, by and large, what it was meant to be; wish-fulfillment fanfiction written by a horny teenager over 4 years ago.
Literally.

And I feel like once I finish the audioplay for it, I will leave it be.
Brave New Equestria (Dystopian Anon, for those of you who have read the original) was meant to fix everything that was wrong with the original; the contrived ending of the original, especially. The premise was interesting enough for readers at the time, however it's been such a long time since I wrote the original that I feel like I've lost almost all drive to continue the version on Fimfiction. I still love the novel it was based off of (I still have it on my bookshelf in my room, which I frequent quite often) but it's hard for me to sit down and gather my thoughts, as the version on Fimfiction was supposed to branch off at a certain point and go in another direction. And I feel that, right now, I don't think I'd be able to do the original novel justice.
Alone. Hoo boy, this one was controversial in the absolute most literal sense of the word. It started as this nice slice-of-life story, then took a complete 180-turn faster than a yandere hentai manga. As far as I'm concerned, this one is done, by and large. The controversy surrounding it is too much trouble, more than it's worth, to fix. I will be the first to say that this one, outside of "Colors of a Rainbow", was probably my worst story yet.
These stories, for the most part, are completely done and over with. I'm not touching them again; I've gone over it many times in my head to come to this conclusion.
However, that doesn't mean I'm done writing in general; there are two stories in particular I'm still excited to be working on: Under the Shell, and And the Rest is (Browsing) History.
Browser ponies gave me a wonderful outlet with the creation of so many different, diverse characters to make use of. I'm a tech nut by trade outside of colorful horses, so the blending of the two of them was a breath of fresh air for me creatively. I can safely say that this story won't be stopping anytime soon; I'll have the occasional one-shot to add to this one.
Under the Shell, on the other hand, is something else entirely; this is meant to be my return to writing multi-chapter stories with continuity and everything to go along with it. I don't want to shorthand you guys this time around with this story; because of that, I'll be planning things out ahead of time for each chapter, so you'll likely be waiting a bit longer for this story when it comes to updates.
But they will come.
Outside of that, (and you're probably getting tired of me plugging everything else I'm doing) I'm doing audioplays of stories I find enjoyable, and keeping tabs on everything in the Twitterverse, so you can check me out there and keep yourself updated on things I'm doing! 2016 is shaping up to be a pretty solid year so far. This is my final year at university, so once I graduate things should be easier on me to be able to shift my focus to creative writing, rather than draining all of my creative juices into research papers.

Moar of the critically acclaimed novel "The Last Son Of Dublin" please. The voices are oh so amazing and as a American Irishman I find him lovable and my type of drinkin man to spend a night out with to woo the little paddies. heh heh
