Well, I Finally Got Tails of Equestria

Hey... again hopefully I’ll be around more this time but we’ll see.

So, you all know I love me some Tabletop RPG, well last week a I got my little niece a set of dice to get her into the hobby and just today finally got Tails.

I’m pretty excited, I’m sure it’ll be fun... I hope I don’t screw up GMing like I normally do but it’s a simple enough game.

    I’m More Than Annoyed

    Well, I’m more than annoyed.

The new Shadowrun matrix book Kill Code has been announced and it had some input from the community.

That’s good, the bad is one particular member.

I’ve ranted before so you probably know where I’m going, Bamce, the stupidest, worst, mod ever, well now he’s officially in a book.

    Bright Again

I already complained about this but seriously, screw the movie.

The sequel is coming, and a lot of people have the same response, but I’m the one that gets targeted for saying it?

Screw Bright, you are not Shadowrun, you will never be Shadowrun, and if I ran the Union I would time out or ban anyone who brings it up without giving them an actual connection to a good series.

Freaking Bright, I am SICK of Bright

So who here actually knows about Bright?

Long story short it’s a generic buddy cop movie from Netflix starring William Smith.

    F:yay:CK THIS CRAPPY MOVIE!

It’s a buddy cop movie, but it has a gimmick, they shove fantasy in because, “Now it’s something special!”

    Problem is they explain NOTHING!

Now, why does this movie just piss me the hell off? Because Shadowrun.

Man, I’ve Been Gone Too Long...

What is this like the fifth time I’m saying that?

What can I say? I was looking at a few of my old FoE PnP characters, that drew me to the FoE Subreddit, and that linked me back here.

Man, my last blog was forever ago and it was just complaining about Shadowrun groups...

Four Possibilitys A.K.A. If I actually Get Off my Butt, What Story Seems Most Intresting? · 3:12am Mar 9th, 2016

So, I've had some things rattling in my head.

No promise on anything, but you never know, question is what seems the most interesting?

So, the four possibility's for stories.

First off: Shadowrun EQG, should seem like a simple enough thing, Equestria Girls but the mirror lead to the Sixth World.

We got Sunset as a burned out mage (she didn't understand the cost of essince before it was too late), AJ the troll street sam, you know the things you'd expect.

This would be the start, but I'd branch into the other movies, and some side-stories like AJ and RD trying to get into a boxing gym, being turned away because of chrome and being an adept, and starting a fight club.

Next: Canterlot High Tabletop Club, I've talked about this plenty, it's a tabletop PnP club in Canterlot High, what else do I say?

My OC D20 would GM, RD is a doge tank, we got Octavia the berserker, Sunset the phoenix warlock, Sonata joins up because, well main plot really.

Then there's the two new ideas.

First off is basically a future fic to try and establish a new universe, 1000 years in the future the adventures of the Elemental bearers are legends, Twilight takes on her own student, the tree of harmony sprouts six flowers, and a new adventure begins for Twilight's student, the new leader of the elements welding the element of knowledge.

Along the way we see new friends and old, well most old friends are dead, but Spike leads his own flight of dragons with a hoard of knowledge, Discord kinda disconnected himself after Fluttershy's passing, and the princesses are all there.

Finally, the newest idea, just came in today, Fallout Equestria the Librarian.

What's there to say? There's a ghoul who was with MaS whose been collecting and keeping safe troves of books, the main thing that it'll do is his dreams of the past, and his teaching a smarter than she looks raider to take up the mantel upon his passing.

So, of these four, which sounds most interesting to you all?

Equestria Girls series but in the sixth world, Equestria Girls characters playing a PnP, the adventures of Twilight's student crossing Equestria searching for the new element bearers, and along the way learning of Equestria's past from before even Star Swirl, or a ghoul keeping that which he feels is most important alive in the wastes, literacy.

No promise anything will even be done, but might as well take in opinions.

My personal preference is divided between the Shadowrun crossover or the future based story with Twilight's apprentice. I love crossovers and Sahdowrun, but fresh stories based purely on the shows lore also interest me and I like the idea of Twilight as a older alicorn with her own student.

That's mostly why I thought of it.

I haven't seen the end of season six yet (recorded, but lazy), but I heard some people talk about how it would have been a good book end.

So, I just got to thinking about some things, like another thousand years making their adventures legends like the Mare in the Moon, Discord, Sombra and such, and more importantly Twilight maturing in a similar vain to her own teacher.

Then you got all the interactions to think about, like I mentioned Spike having a hoard of knowladge with his own dragon flight, the main thing I thought with this was Spike realizing that while the wealth most of his kind collect is fleeting, he can forever preserve things for the future, and using this to get his flight by telling them that they can keep the treasure, but the history is his.

Then there was the conflict with the tree blooming again, giving birth to this new era of elements, both a sign of harmony and a warning that something's on the way.

I honestly gave this far more thought than I should have at the beginning of the year I won't lie, but I like to think I wrapped a lot of good things into my head that make sense.
