14 hours ago, actress-singer Andrea Libman wrote the following on Facebook:
Just a refresher from @MerriamWebster:
feminism: the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities
It's the same thing!!!!!!!!! https://t.co/T6GzUgEcHq
BashingInMinds on Twitter
“@AndreaLibman While we may disagree on the virtues of 'feminism' vs 'egalitarianism', I want you to know I appreciate your efforts.”

She also provided a link to this article.
Naturally, Libman (VA for Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, respectively) received a gloat of hate messages for this three-on-a-match Facebook post, such as the following:
[ACTUAL QUOTES]
Toxic masculinity? Really? Feminism?
I thought you were better than this.
But apparently you're a sexist man hating cunt.
#FuckFeminism #DownwithMisandry
Did someone hijack Andrea's account?
You should not get involved in that whole thing. Look, it is a big messy pit on both sides. Third wave feminism is filled with corruption and hatred, it has tainted feminism beyond repair. And opposing it gets you charged for thought crime. Be wise, don't get involved on any side. Better being neutral than paying the price of picking a side, specially the side that is trying to #killallmen.
That's first wave feminism. Modern feminism is third wave feminism, and is basically a belief that the fictional patriarchy must be punished.
There are regressive feminists and progressive feminists.
The regressive feminists are a loud minority and their general aim is censorship (safe spaces, problematic jokes for example).
The normal feminists are egalitarian, like Andrea Libman XD.
Now comes the important aspect of why #ISupportAndrea. I'm sure you'll recognize the singer-actress-director Barbra Streisand, who, if given the chance, would also SupportAndrea.
[The multi-talented Barbra] Streisand has long been an active supporter of the Democratic Party and many of its causes.
These causes include feminism. It played a key role in her 2014 interview with the Associated Press (emphasis added):
Streisand: I like directing. I’m planning to direct a movie and also be in a couple of things maybe that I’ve meant to do over the years.
AP: Are you happy to see more female directors on the scene?
Streisand: Well, the problem is there aren’t more. I swear to God I read a survey a few months ago, like less than 6 percent of women are directing films today, and that was [the same as] in the time I did “Yentl.”
AP: Why do you think that is?
Streisand: I think women are still treated as second-class citizens. We still don’t get equal pay. Thank God I am in the music industry, so it’s a bit different, but I’m fortunate in that way. The average woman doesn’t get the same pay; she gets 77 cents on the dollar that a man gets. I’m so involved in women’s heart disease and trying to raise awareness and funds; Even in medical research, women are not treated equally. The research on women’s hearts is done in the last 50 years on men. …So since women are 51 percent of the population I think we should really have that represented in Congress as well.
These reasons, as handed out by Barbra Streisand, are reason enough for me to say, #ISupportAndrea.
Feminism has been destroyed by the feminazis. Don't say feminism, please support egalitarianism instead. It's actually about equal treatment.
3797679 Actually, I would probably like to point out that Mrs. Streisand, whom I quoted here, is both a feminist AND an egalitarian in her own right, since she has historically also supported the rights of homosexuals and Jews (she was on Richard Nixon's infamous "Enemies" list for partly supporting the former, and she's proud to be one of the latter herself). (In 2007, Mrs. Streisand helped raise funds in an unsuccessful attempt to defeat the anti-gay, and thus anti-equal treatment, Proposition 8 in California.)
Egalitarianism, like feminism, is a Democratic cause.
3797843 Good, but the practice of feminism has been tainted by the images of the bulk of it's out speaking members. The Feminazis and people who don't waht equal, but more rights. Personally, true equality isn't divided up by race or gender, get what you earn. Don't say for every male there should be a female, then we get laws forcing that, and then it's not equality.
3797856 On the side note, it was LightningSword (a man who supports both causes) who introduced the news surrounding Andrea Libman to me, and it was LightningSword who thanked me for putting the blog up in the first place. He has provided the definitions for both Feminism and Egalitarianism:
Here's another good explanation of modern feminism and why the whole Feminist shindig should not be taken to an extreme (certainly, that's not the way Streisand and Libman had been taking it to the best of my knowledge.)
3797861 All I want is for you to answer one question. Should our armed forces have a less strict training program for female applicants.
3797868
I believe they should generally have a less strict training program. This is because of my belief that the Armed Forces have treated the male applicants just as harshly and strictly as they have treated the female applicants (you'd see an example of that happening in the Oscar-winning FORREST GUMP for example).
3797877 So, because of their gender they should get a less difficult training program? Our soldiers shouldn't all be held to the same standards? This is what I'm talking about, if you preach equality, ask for equality not less or more. If you want to be equal, don't ask for privileges or less work because of gender.
3797880
That's not what I meant. What I meant was, men and women alike should have less difficult training programs.
They should indeed all be held to the same standards, as my statement implies.
I believe that privileges shouldn't be gender based. So, in reality, does Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders (D, Vermont), whom my family is voting for in the first place.
Here's LightningSword's blog post if you want to talk to that nice man about it. Because we, each other, will not receive any benefit from this argument, and might likely tell each other to fuck off and block each other. This is something we don't want happening to each other.
3797884 You took one reply and divided it up as to make me look worse. What I'm saying is hold everyone to the same standards, and that's not what you replied to me. So, I answered and you try to make me look like an ass?
3797891 I do not intend to make you look like an ass. I knowingly state, loudly and clearly, to hold everyone to the same standards. That's also what you're doing, although not to my degree.
Here's LightningSword's blog post if you want to talk to that nice man about it. Because we, each other, will not receive any benefit from this argument if it marches steadily along, and might likely tell each other to fuck off and block each other. This is something we don't want happening to each other.
3797894 I think we're agreeing now. Same standards for everyone. That's all I want.
