    Re-reading Hunter/Prey; noticed this dialogue.

Hunter (the human main character) bumps into a pegasus in the hedge maze. The pegasus freaks out and calls the guards, one of which knocks Hunter out. Then Shrouded Armor shows up and sets things straight.

LMAO. I swear, this could be dropped into a chapter of Machinations in the Dark of Celestia's Prophet and fit perfectly.

It helps that Hunter/Prey is the sort of story I parodied when I first wrote MitDoCP.

Or a Monty Python skit.

Colossus: We can't allow this, Deadpool.
Deadpool: I don't have time for your X-Men bullshit, Colossus! Besides, nobody's getting hurt!
[a dead body falls off an overhead traffic sign]
Deadpool: That guy was up there before I got here.

And yeah, I can totally see John Cleese delivering Shining Armor's lines.
