Off The Mark - The Novel

Have you been enjoying the adventures (and misadventures) of Mark Wells? Why not read it again it again, but this time on a device guaranteed not to lose your data and is completely DRM-free! Consisting of hundreds of sheets of pulped wood with the words rendered with a black medium, it's sure to catch on. I wanted to call it a "woodpage", but someone else thought "paperback" was catchier. I

    I'm a contender!

Cosmic Lotus is in contention for the Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Novel for 2018. After missing out for the past few years, I'm quite chuffed about getting on the ballot this time. If you feel it deserves it, go vote for Cosmic Lotus, pretty please! :twilightsheepish:

So you want another chapter when?

Sometimes you have to wonder how authors can get new chapters out so quickly when they still have to work eight hours a day plus commute, eating, doing necessary chores, and so forth. The answer is quite simple, and courtesy of a graphic modified by Airy Words, I'll reveal it to you...

    Please support me!

I love to write, but unlike most authors, I also like to get many illustrations for my stories. Of course, this costs me a lot of money. Help support me and keep up the frequent art additions by buying me a ko-fi!

New art of Champion · 11:52am Mar 1st, 2016

I have added art of Champion, the thestral warrior who first appears in "Blue's Field Trip". His coloration is supposed to strongly resemble that of a Flying Fox, the Australian fruit bat. Art by Foxenawolf.

He looks one of his namesake. XD HE IS THE CHAMPION!

The head fin is a bit... strange.
Still, that's a pretty awesome design!

Why is the shield on his spear-arm?

3785984 He would grab the spear with his left hoof of course. He's a lefty!

I was wandering about the fur colors.

Either way he's cool.

3785822 Yeah, not often you see a headfin instead of the usual mane. It's distinctive as heck, unless other thestrals' helmets headfins are their headfins and not their manes. So used to seeing OC thestrals with manes, maybe this will spark some headfin love.

Yay for us Aussies.

Yay, I'm not the only one who prefers head fins on Thestrals.
though admittedly I'll interchange between fins and manes for females.:trollestia:

Flying fox huh?
Did he come from Sydneigh, Saddlaide, or Darwhinny.
(Those are the only one i can think of off the top of my head. any other suggestions would be cool.) :twilightblush:
