Art help needed... and don't kill me... · 9:18am Feb 29th, 2016

I'm trying to design a zebra OC who may or may not appear in a future story.

Unlike Zecora, she wasn't born in the 'Homeland', and was raised in Manehatten instead---so she doesn't have an accent, or speak in rhyme, or wear traditional jewelry. There was a very brief and fleeting mention of her in Three Steps Back, when Flim was remembering Connie's "only friend". He and Flam know her as "Aunt Zsa Zsa", despite not being related by blood. She was present at Flam and Trixie's wedding rehearsal, and was one of the first to try to pull Flam back. Trixie doesn't care much for her, since she's technically a 'mud-foot', and they aren't on speaking terms. I'm trying to write a story where true wedding bells ring, and she shows up.

So... I can't quite picture her yet. She's actually based on two people I know---a good friend of mine, and my Big Gay Auntie. (Neither of whom are black, but...) She's Connie's age and a bit hefty, and always wears a wig/weave. I have no idea what her cutie mark would be.

Any help?

Well first off, does she have any sort of talent?

Also, I may have a totally inappropriate crush on said lady...

She met Connie in a singing contest. They both placed after first, and bonded over their mutual bitterness. She's a performer by trade, but wishes she could be something more.

3783634 Well if she believes she hasn't discovered her true talent yet, she doesn't need to have a cutie mark immediately.

At age, like, forty? Well... I'll putter around with it, Thanks :)
