Well...uh...I guess if there was ever a time for this?

I was honestly afraid that this was going to be for the new MLP movie, but...ewwwwww- ohmygod noooo!

This...doesn't sit well with me.

I’m honestly not all that impressed with it, to be perfectly honest…it looks like it’s directed more at the intended audience (young girls)- and that’s perfectly fine with me! I mean, Hasbro can do whatever they like, and not all of what they do has to be for those of us that are older. This show WAS supposed to be for young girls, after all, so I guess it’s only fitting that they do something fitting for the original, intended target audience in the canon, aside from toy commercials? I also don’t see why it’s rendered in 3D- I guess it could be because it’s called the ‘mini’ miniseries…

Despite it being another attempt to get the masses to buy toys- from what I can see, the short looks fine enough. The animation’s well done, nobody’s ‘out of character’ from the actual show, and it even looks kind of cute. But…’throwing the ultimate slumber party’ just isn’t my cup of tea. I saw this ad before a video on YouTube, and I was deathly afraid that this was a preview for the MLP movie that’s supposed to hit theaters in 2017. I guess that was a knee-jerk reaction, and I hope to high heaven that this isn’t the case.
