This Years Conventions and Scribblefest 2016 · 3:46pm Feb 24th, 2016
First, apologies for being quiet since the completion of Sunset Slayer. Work has been busy as well as tiring, and the muses of writing have been drifting around without settling on any one story for me.
Still, as we reach the end of February , I wanted to touch on my convention plans for the 2016 year. Right now, there is high probability that the conventions I'll be attending this year will be EverfreeNW and Bronycon. EverfreeNW has always been a wonderful convention for authors, and this years writing track lead, is planning some fun things that should shake up the usual writing-track panels. And Bronycon is, as usual, a big convention and a chance for me to see all my east coast online friends.
So I hope to see some of you on the convention circuit this year. And also, with EverfreeNW looming just a few months away, I'd like offer a reminder about their pre-convention writing contest that I'll be helping judge, Scribblefest 2016.
This year EverfreeNW's pre-con writing contest is shifting into a new and wonderful gear. In the past all the stories would be ranked against one another and a "top" story would be selected. This year there are a total of six possible prizes, each representing stories that focus on different things and genres. So if you're among those heading to Seattle in May, take a look at the Scribblefest 2016 page.
So get out there, get writing, and if your story wins, it will be seen by all the attendees of EverfreeNW when it gets printed into the convention book.
Winners will also get $20 on an electronic Amazon gift card, if you need a little more incentive. Submission deadline is March 6th 2016.
More incentive to find the means to make BC a possibility.

Um...I've heard of bronycons but I've never figured out when or where they are.
I'm no writer but that doesn't mean I don't have a character.
I infect have a character named Vida emotionante (name is patented.do not use)and an very extensive story behind her.
I need to find somepony who is really good with diologue.
Especially sarcasm. And pony profanity.
I hope atleast one of you can give me some info.
