    From Dust: Complete!

    First completed story, woo!

Seriously though, I'm happy I finally have a project I consider concluded to satisfaction. I can tell it has some rough edges, but it is definitely much more refined than my first attempt at writing the last chapters. Yeesh, it gets a bit hectic at work and my writing takes a hit...

TL;DR - I'm super sorry I haven't been updating!

So for anyone who bothers to read my drivel, you'll notice the frequent updates for Forged Anew have suddenly and, barring this post, inexplicably dropped. Allow me to explain.

Between a bit of travel for work, changes in shift and a few personal concerns and a lack of access to first computers, and then my Google Drive while at work, I've been left rather thrown out of my usual routine. The bulk of my writing on my fics occurred at work when things were slow, as it was a way to spend the time between tasks without blatantly sitting on my flanks goofing off. Practicing writing certainly comes across as more useful than staring at random videos on YouTube or just reading others' fics. Unfortunately, on the few occasions there is a terminal free for my use during shift, I can now, for whatever reason, not access my in-progress stories. Drive simply refuses to come up in the browser. Go figure. This leaves me the options of trying to write in my time off, which I generally prefer to spend resting (read: asleep) or with friends, online or otherwise, to beat back a certain sense of isolation that's accompanied my current career since leaving home, or not at all... which is just terrible.

Hopefully, I can convince myself to ease back on binge gaming or sleeping away my days off and decide to write some more, because I honestly don't expect and improved situation in that regards during my days stuck in the office (not that I should), so I'll do what I can to sort things out and get back to stories.
