The Cutie Mark Crusaders Ascension Project · 3:38am Feb 20th, 2016

For all of you wanting more chapters or a sequel for CMC:P, I officially announce and attempt to document the CMC-AP!

I'd blame Bugsydor for this, but he really didn't have any idea what I would make of his remark. He is making it easier on me to continue running with it, though.

Those of you who have read CMC:P should be aware that I am not going to add to it. Instead, I am writing multiple stories that will fill the role of CMC:P and more. The CMC-AP is in it's early stages now, but the general arc has been planned, and the first story is already on its way out, as many of you may or may not also be aware of.

I have three stories planned at the moment. Light of a Diamond is going to wrap up with the CMC earning their cutie marks, though that much may already be obvious to those who have read what exists of it already. In the epilogue, I hope to set up what their cutie marks mean in the CMC-AP (or at least to me), which may not be entirely necessary for the following stories, but I hope it will make them more interesting.

The second story is going to end with the CMC actually earning their extra limbs. CMC:P failed in that I had absolutely no explanation for why they ascended, and, for me, that killed the potential for making it longer. I'm not going to get too spoilery, though, so I'm not going to reveal the details that lead to their ascension, but it will take place by the end of this one.

And I have no idea when the third story is going to end, because it's pretty much the aftermath of the CMC ascending. Think along the lines of CMC:P, but with a satisfying background of information. If you haven't died of adorableness in the second one (it could get a bit dark instead), then you'll probably find your end in this one. There won't be much to compete with the priority of making the CMC lovable. And dangerous, in their own way.

I'm hip to this idea.

Making them lovable? Wait, they aren't lovable yet?!
My whole life is a lie. :applecry:

Remember, the ones you know don't have wings and horns, and aren't responsible for the consequences of exactly that. :scootangel:

How could becoming alicorns make them less lovable? If anything, it makes them more lovable than they already are, cause then, not just one, but three of them have cute, small, feathery wings to bury your face into while cuddling, not to mention that the spells they can use then make them at least 20% more badass!
