Over 1,000 Views! Sequel??? · 4:03pm Feb 19th, 2016
Painkiller has surpassed that ever elusive 1,000 view mark, and I'm ever so grateful for that. Thank you guys so much for all the support I've received. I know a lot of you have been begging me to write a sequel, but I have a better plan!
I'm going to be making this into a series of short stories: the Painkiller Series.
Each story is going to focus on a different character involved in the events surrounding Twilight's incarceration. This will allow the story to progress ever so slightly while elaborating on the actions and opinions of all Twilight's friends and family.
Did I say family? You're damn right, I did! The next story will follow Spike, and it will feature Twilight's parents and Cadence. How is Spike handling the loss of his brother and having his closest friend and confidant stolen away from him? How are Night Light and Twilight Velvet coping with the tragic loss of their eldest child? How is Cadence handling the loss of her husband and the father of her unborn child???
Find out in: Fallen Angel! (No, they won't all be references to Three Days Grace songs... probably. )
This is excellent news! Way better than a regular sequel, and I'm looking forward to it immensely!!!
And the next one is called Fallen Angel, huh?
Bring it on!!!
3764705 Get hype, scrub. Lol.
3764964 Yep.
It's all about the hype.
3765011 By the way, if you haven't heard the song Fallen Angel by Three Days Grace, you should check it out. It's really awesome. Their newest album is gold. It's their first real good album since One X. Plus, it'll give you an idea for the feeling of the story.
3765384 I haven't, actually, so I'll definitely do that. Thanks for the tip.
Oooooo, really? Cool. Definitely lookin' forward to it, then!
If you do this, I'd like to see something with more of a varied viewpoint. Personally, I think that Twilight is genuinely in the wrong here. She committed murder out of revenge. That is a horrible crime and deserves due punishment. It just so happens that Celestia is also in the wrong, about both Twilight's treatment and Sombra's, but for very different reasons.
I'm tempted to suggest making it all one story, with separate chapters. Just because it's more compact :)
