The Rise and Fall of New Hyrule has been cancelled · 10:23am Feb 19th, 2016

After some thinking, I've decided that I don't really want to write it. I have two other fanfics to focus on, and my ideas for this one were slightly... weird, and I don't know if they'll actually look good outside of my brain.
However, if you want to adopt the story, feel free to ask!

But fear not! If you like Spirit Tracks, here's a sneak peak of the next chapter of A Spirit That Shines Forever Bright.

On the night before my story begins, I was having trouble sleeping. I’m not normally much of a reader, but I got out a slightly worn book called Your Guide to the Paranormal and started reading it. Inside this book was a lot of information on how to deal with things that probably didn’t exist, or at least I thought so at the time. After skimming through pages about things such as shédons, demons, and light magic, I finally found a page that I found interesting enough to properly read it.
“The second sight is an incredibly rare ability that is said to allow the person with it to see things most people can’t. It is said that one can only get the second sight by being born with it, and that it sometimes disappears in adulthood. Unfortunately, there’s no way to prove if it exists or not.”
At the time, this interested me, but only because it was a lot different from everything else in the book. While most of the entries were “how to avoid being killed”, this one was a mysterious, non-dangerous thing that actually sounded kind of cool. After a moment of thinking, I continued reading.
Oh, past me… if only you knew…
