I know I said at the beginning of the most recent chapter that tomorrow's chapter would be the last one, but I realized that I have a little too much to do to wrap it all up and one chapter. So instead, tomorrow's chapter will be the penultimate chapter, and the last chapter should be up on Friday.
Thanks again for your continued enjoyment of this story. It has really been a joy to write, as well as to see everyone debating over!

If it means we'll stop having hypocrisy, sheer stupidiness, and a kind of desperation you will find in some cartoonishly big 'hero' trying to pull a last ditch effort up his or her ass then I'll be happy with an otherwise fine story.(but I still like the story.)
Yeah, I had this feeling that the story couldn't possibly have any sort of happy resolution with just one chapter left, if it was going to be the same size as all the others. I look forward to more!

Don't short-change yourself or your story by cow-towing to what everybody else wants. It's YOUR story, write it the way that YOU envisioned it. You have a MJAOR winning combination with the story elements you've incorperated. You also have a great deal of potential for expansion and world building. I have greatly enjoyed the story thus far and I look forward to reading more of it every single day. It has managed to evoke an emotional reaction from me, which is no mean feat. Please keep writing good sir.

I feel like we need this next chapter to wrap it up, then an epilogue to tell about the consequences of everyone's actions.
There is too much going on for it to end adequately in just another 2.5k words. I know it's your choice, but it would be greatly appreciated if you continued it to Saturday to perhaps build more on the dragon culture you were creating earlier. You created a wonderful world here, and shouldn't let it be squandered by ending it without going into much detail about it.
Of course you could always do a sequel!

Heh, I probably should have mentioned that this chapter was likely going to be longer than the typical chapter of this story. I'm already at about 2.2k words and it's not over yet! But I do agree that maybe an epilogue chapter could be welcome. I'll have to see how long this chapter I'm working on ends up being by the time I get to where I want to go with it.
The suggestion is appreciated, and I'm glad to see you've been enjoying the story! Seriously, this story spawned through a random thought while lying in bed, and it's spiraled into some of the most fun I've had writing pony words, as well as easily the most productive I've been with them

I truly applaud your attitude and dedication to those on the site, and to yourself as an adept and very dedicated, writer! ( pretty much all of us can't claim to be a professional, if we are doing fanfics. I've prolly only ever read 3 of that caliber)
