Ahhh, Apocalyptica...! Metal and cellos just seem to go together like mint and dark chocolate (that is to say "very well"). This is pure, unashamedly instrumental metal music with cellos. That is right: head banging metal with cellos: no boring Pachabel in D here! Significant Other purchased me one of their albums for my birthday a few years back (Cult) and I have loved them since. As I mentioned way back in one of my previous blogs, head-cannon Octavia plays music like this.
