Me too, I was worried that the video was ship bashing too. But it turned out to be a great video for both Fluttercord shippers and Dislestia shippers:) Though, I still think Discord wouldn't end up with Celestia even after Fluttershy passes, but that's just me though. P.S. This is shameful self-advertising but I found the prefect love song for one of my characters to sing to another in the future with my story.
*Chuckles* And because I'm incredibly sadistic, I'm just going to give you a few hints to the character's identity by telling you that the character's gender won't necessarily match this singer's gender; both the character singing, and the character being sung to have already appeared in the story, and they aren't Fluttershy or Discord. (As much as I love the odd couple.)

Oh by the way, what do you think of the Fluttercord vs Dislestia video and other Fluttercord video?
3760109 Okay, I finally got a chance to watch the videos. (*Snorts and mutters under breath* Only took you about two weeks, you lazy Shark.)
I thought the first one was pretty cute, and the second one raised some interesting points on both ships. Though the Dislestia side of things seems to rely a lot less on what's in the actual episodes, and a lot more on a bunch of fan theories that I don't really buy personally. Namely that one about Discord and Celestia once being friends. Maybe I'm over simplifying things, but to me in the cartoon Discord comes across more as being completely new to friendship rather than as a guy who had it and lost it. (Though if they ever out-and-out state that Discord and Celestia were once friends in the cartoon, I will readjust my views.)
What do you think about that whole past relationship theory?

I agree, Dislestia basically and really relies on fan theories and fan stories about the unknown distant past of MLP, than actual episodes. Which I can see the fun in that and why people would ship these two, along with the fact that these two are complete opposites and they're thousands of years with great magical powers. However, some Dislestia shippers take this too far and think the ambiguity and certain implications about the past with its correlation to the past justifies as canon, which well...can make it difficult for Fluttercord shippers and other shippers of Discord, etc. And that's another ball of chaotic mess itself. Anyway, I agree that there's a possiblity of Discord and Celestia knowing each other in the past but probably not as friends since Discord's first friend was Fluttershy and he's very new when it comes to friendship. I think Discord and Celestia had a rivarly/curiosity of each other kind of relationship before they became enemies and such. Because of their curiousity of each other and their knowledge of their own opposite elements (chaos knows harmony well, and harmony knows chaos well), and their rivarly in their beliefs and powers, they were able to get to know one another to the point that they knew each other well, but not friends. But rather neighbors in a sense. Maybe opposites attract, but then soon dash by the battle between chaos and disharmony. But that's just a possiblity, it was probably flirting at most but really empty flirting really. I don't think, even if Fluttershy and Discord get together and get married and have kids together and Fluttershy soon passes away, that Discord would then have a relationship with Celestia. Sure at that point, Discord and Celestia would be friends but...like the girl said in the video, Celestia and Discord are immortal and if they spend too many centuries together, they would drive each other crazy. Plus, Celestia would always put Equestria first before Discord. Plus, at that point, I don't think Discord and Celestia would have that opposites attract thing anymore because they are such good friends that they've become kind like...for example, let's say that you had a childhood friend. You've been friends for a long time, its a girl and boy friendship. You two have become so close that you two would view each other as brother and sister. And in this mindset, it's hard to be attracted or want to be in a romantic relationship with your friend
This is how I would like it to play out for Celestia and Discord
