Not really big on fanfic writing, but when I'm in the mood I'll jot something down from time to time. I'd much rather frequent sites like YouTube, DeviantArt, and Facebook

Everyone who follows me on this site, you all HAVE to see this game trailer · 1:36am Feb 12th, 2016

This right here? This is what a triple-A video game should look like. No need for guns, no need for celebrity voice actors, no game mechanics that nobody asks for. Just a beautiful and fun-looking game. Whoever it was among you that said video games can't be considered works of art, this game officially proves you wrong.

Your character, that knitted yarn creature, is named Yarnie, and from what my intel has theorized, you go around various environments collecting memories of the elderly women's past, from her young childhood to adulthood. Memories created throughout her life in environments she's visited before. I cannot confirm this is the official plot of the game, but looking at this trailer I'd be surprised if it wasn't close to the truth. I can confirm that the game has a lot of physics puzzling to it, using your character's endless line of yarn to get around the levels, using the yarn as tightropes, pulling objects and even bouncing on like a trampoline.

So this year, don't get Call of Duty. Don't waste money on another FIFA game. Save your money up and buy what could well become one of the most beautiful gorgeous platforming/puzzle games this year; Unravel.

Who would have thought a character made of yarn could be so adorable?

I want someone to make my OC, Unique, out of yarn now...I WANT A UNIQUE YARN PLUSHIE!

3749012 Oh yeah I forgot that was a thing!

And yeah, a Yarnie amibo could be cool. But you know some asshole would jack the price up no doubt.

3749019 You can buy them at stores like Walmart and Best Buy right now.

3749036 What for? I don't have the console they work on.

So there's literally no point for me to get one.

3749050 If you like it, buy it. If you aren't into stuffed animals or plushies I understand.

a yarn plushie of you? that would certainly be unique:trollestia:

I was planning on buying xcom 2

3749098 Why are you agile again? I just noticed your full name and got curious.

Those graphics made me shit myself.

3749623 Well, my actual family, the ~!@#$%^&*s were originally an English house of knights founded by a viking in the 11 and 1200s. The knights were known for their speed and agility, being symbolized by the falcon. Which is why I am Sir Root Beer the Agile.

3750387 I was bought from a cheap Prostitute's Unwanted Babies Monthly catalog because I came with a free television.

3750406 You get a free poster with weekly subscription.

Speaking of poster, I'm thinking of posing nude for one. But my camera keeps breaking on me.

Which is weird because it works fine for everyone else and when I'm clothed.

List of favourite/good/upcoming games you should check out:
> Unravel
Explained here well enough.

> Firewatch
A beautiful single player narrative. A Drama/Exploration game. Very organic.

> The Long Dark
I can't give this game enough description... check out it's steam store page. Very atmospheric and simply harsh. I'd wait for this one to finish dev, but it's still a great game regardless of early access.

> That Dragon, Cancer
The emotions... It's a narrative... I don't want to say anything about the story, other than you'll need several boxes of tissues and a cat or five to cuddle.

> Life is Strange
A first person/third person narrative with a unique twist and choose your own adventure esk game mechanics. Watch the trailers.

> Slime Rancher
The best description....
Playing two hours of this unfinished game did what eight years of antidepressants couldn't.

> Project Zomboid
Quite possibly the best zombie game out there. It's so realistic that people don't go killing each other out right... A game where teamwork is life over death.

> Bastion
If you don't know this game... it has a reputation, as it was Supergiants first game, and a masterpiece. A hack'n slash narrative with beautiful artwork, narrative, and soundtrack. It's my second favourite game... leading to...

> Transistor
This game... Beautiful everything. A fun game. A narrative that left me in tears of great emotion.
