Hello friends, I need some advice, my sister is having problems with her ex and it's gotten to a point where she has filed a restraining order on him and is taking him to court for a crudity battle over their daughter. I have tried to see the good and love and tolerate him, but he has made my sister cry more times them I can count. The arguments have gotten out of hand and he would do say mean and hurtful things on facebook about her and my family. I'm about three seconds from snapping on him and doing something I may regret. Please someone give me some guidance..

What I can offer is: Don't lash out at him. If your sister's taking him to court, a fight will give him evidence and he can even file assault. Comfort her in any way you can and always be by her side.

File custody for her daughter. Document every time he was an ass to her.
DO NOT under any circumstances, contact the asshole.
He is an asshole, he will always be an asshole, and he will never, ever change.
Never. He won't change for her, his daughter, nobody.
If she goes back to him it will get worse and she is putting her daughter in danger.
