New chapter for What They Expect to Give is up and ready to read. I'm really glad I had that ready ahead of time. The extra time from my last read let me see something that even my two editors had missed. It's so refreshing to be ahead of an update schedule for once!
My husband was teasing me that Rainbow Dash sounds like me. Now I keep fussing over her dialogue. On the one hand, I don't want her to feel like a soundboard of phrases from the show, but how do you get children's cartoon characters to sound well-rounded in a more realistic way? I suppose that is the constant struggle of an MLP fanfic author...
So today is Superbowl day. Gonna bake a blueberry pie and have me a fruity drink. Who are you guys cheering for?
