Hello everyone! I know it's been a while since I posted anything and without going into way more detail than I think anyone wants, I'll just say that I haven't been super inspired to create this past year. Not just in writing but all creative aspects of my life have been somewhat on hold, not abandon, just not at the forefront. Mostly its just been me escaping reality (into games and tv shows and stuff), rather than working to create my own.

I do however have some stories in the works. And while I have no dates for them I would like to share a bit of what I am spending my time on with you. So in order of most complete to least, here are the three active FIM stories, in various states of completion, that I am working on.

First up is a seven part (with a possible 8th bonus chapter) following the daughter of Twilight through seven years of her life. It is a mix of adventure and, slice of life (and if you want a rough idea of its content (although quite a lot has changed), I put it in an unpub blog post a while back). I'm pretty far along, but, uh, some chapters are way more bloated than others (like chapter one is around 60 pages, vs my normal 18-ish). It is the next story I am targeting to put out but it is at least months away.

Next up I have a tale starring Spike! While I don't have a good idea of how long it is going to be, the gist of it is, what if I reversed Spike and Twilight. That is to say, have a world of dragons, where Spike accidentally summons a baby Twilight during his test. I have a bunch of artwork for it (mostly bad), and around half the chapters roughed out. Just need to sit down and write it. Most likely a story for WAY late this year or the next.

And lastly, the only one I'm going to assume anyone really cares about, is Twilight Dash's next installment. As I've said before, unlike the last two stories, the next one will be more episodic, similar to Deep Down Dreams (available later today (I hope, it's in the approval que now as I write this blog)), where each chapter (with a few exceptions) will be more of a stand alone story. The hope was that in this format, I could just put them up whenever I finished one, without the cliff-hangerie style I have become accustomed to driving my readers crazy. But I've written around ten of them so far, and, well, I hate them all (alright, maybe one is okay, but the rest just aren't good, and I can't just put up one). So, I don't know. I'm working on it but I just haven't found that driving force that makes me want to spend hundreds of hours on it.
