STORY COVER PREVIEW and shout outs aplenty! · 6:43pm Feb 4th, 2016
Working early this morning on the finishing touches for a new MLP story for FIMFic. One that will bring some regular, beloved ponies into Nyx and King Sombra's lives - Derpy and Doctor Whooves! My eternal gratitude to Pixel_Spark, the amazing FIMFic author and artist of the Sombra redemption story From Darkness to Light for committing to doing the cover art for the story. Not sure the damn story-thingy will get done in time for my regular Thursday post. It depends on Pixel's ability to slide in under a deadline, how fast I can write and keep this blasted beast of a thing from turning into a multi-parter AND how fast I can get it to my proofreader Lonestar_Pony and his availability. Didn't think a story took so many hands to craft, didja?
Oh and if I can stop rereading Askre's wonderful and AMAZING Sombra horror story Possession in the Crystal Empire WHICH I CAN’T AND NEVER WILL! Giving it a shout out, right here, right now 'cause this story needs tons of love and upvotes 'cause it's just plain BRILLIANT. I mean, how the hell did everyone find out that Private was possessed, let alone WHO was possessing him when he's totally keeping his mouth shut?!? I still reread it and still am impressed with how the story is unfolding. Keep on writing, Askre. You and your Sombra and AWESOME!
Also a quick shout out, thank you and HUGS APLENTY!!! to Dragonfan810. Yes, I was worried you'd dropped off the face of Equestria. I want another chapter of A Cold Heart of Crystal RIGHT NOW, dammit!!! If you haven't read it yet, go over there and give it some love! Her take on Sombra is HYSTERICAL and I still laugh when I go over there and read it again and again.
And what's with that preview image of Apple Jack draped across our King’s back, hmmm??? Did she take finally him up on his lewd reply to her comment about him being a FIT STALLION?!? Eh, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, SAY NO MORE!

Gotta bounce outta here. Real life and an online skill test await my flying typing fingers so I can find another steady job. Ugh. Don't they realize writing about the King of the Crystal Empire is so much more fucking IMPORTANT?!? Sheesh!

BTW, I'm going to give a nod to your story in a future one of mine. I have a story planned out - quite a bit in the future right now, unfortunately because it's at the tail end of two other massive story arcs, but I'm going to give an origin to Little Crystal, if that's okay with you.
