Gonna Start Replying to Reviews · 12:25am Feb 3rd, 2016
I've been slacking in that department lately, and since you guys do such a good job with reviews, I don't want to make that into a habit. You guys deserve my thanks and appreciation for your words.
(Which some--but definitely not all--guys on fanfiction.net don't deserve. Goodness, some of them are so brutal with the fact that I take forever to update and demand me to do so faster. Like I'm writing it just for their satisfaction. Like it's okay to tell me that it was a long wait, because if I DID mind those kind of comments, then my apologies would mean nothing. But some are just like 'it's about time you updated' or make it sound like I'm being scolded or that I did them a personal wrong. Sheesh. You guys never do that though, thanks. :))
But I may respond in separated chunks with the reviews, so if some get a reply and others don't, it doesn't mean you won't get one. I'm just spacing it out. Just wanted you to know.
And just as an overall message, I want to thank you all again for reviewing and giving me the motivation and confidence to write. You guys have really done wonders for my self-esteem, and that is a gift that I won't ever take for granted. I'll always be grateful to all of you for that.
Writing fan fiction is something you are doing for fun and for free so I'll take what I can get. I know if I start reading something without a "complete" tag that there is a chance it might never finish. But some fun reading is better than none fun reading. Even if the comments weren't phrased nicely I hope you can still take it as a compliment that people like what you are doing and want more :). If it sucked no one would bother. Makes me think of how much rage people have at George Lucas for the prequels, as obnoxious as that must feel, that passion wouldn't even exist without how great his original trilogy is. You do you Tater!
